Shipton Mill Organic Cake and Pastry Flour flour is milled for soft cake and pastry flour from English organic wheat. The climate here provides excellent growing conditions for soft wheats, which are perfectly suited to creating beautifully light sponges, cakes and batters.

Flour is a raw ingredient and therefore should be thoroughly cooked / baked before consumption.
The natural properties of the wheat this flour is milled from are ideal for baking cakes, sponges and batters.
This is one of the favourite flours for an easy to handle shortcrust pastry, and is especially good in tarts and pies.
(Not suitable for puff pastry.)
