Preparation

Use freshly boiled filtered water 100°C.
Allow 1 slightly heaped teaspoon of tea for 200ml cup +1 for the pot. Infuse for 3-5min.
If you prefer a stronger infusion with milk we recommend brewing for 5mins.

 

This historic tea is believed to have been named after Earl Charles Grey, British Prime Minster (1830-34). Reputedly, he received a gift of tea flavoured with bergamot oil. It has since become of the nation’s favourite teas!

 

A traditional blend of black tea with bergamot. This Earl Grey has been blended using high quality Indian tea and bergamot to be enjoyed with or without milk.

 

Ingredients

A blend of Nilgiri black tea and bergamot aroma.
